Churches of Christ in WA and
Thailand's Beulah Land Services
Leprosy Mission Project

The background to the project is that there are seven Thai government-run leprosy colonies in Thailand where there are Christian churches.  The aim of the project is for a WA church to partner each with one of the colony churches i.e. ther eare presently six churches in all working with those indigenous churches and expereiencing a developing relationship that will be transformational to both cthe olony and churches as the years go by.

The object of the Thai-WA project is to enable churches to work with these ndigenous churches, improving the lot of the lepers and their families and to develop significant relationships with them over a number of years; also with other churches in WA who are similarly participating in the project.  Global Mission Partners who are also partnering in this project see this as part of a COCOA project and are assisting with Glyn Jenkins co-ordinating the organisation in WA and Thailand, and providing some funding to assist  in the costs associated with the project.
